Message From President

I am happy to note that the 54th Annual Convention of Computer Society of India (CSI), the Nation's premier body of Computer Science & IT professionals is going to Lucknow – the city of Nawabs, tehzeeb and adab. We are really happy that we are going to the capital city of Uttar Pradesh which has given us the most number of Prime-Ministers. In the city of rich cultural heritage we will not only enjoy the Awadhi culture but shall also be deliberating on the theme of the convention "Digital Transformation- eReadiness for Self Reliance" and I am sure this International Congress on Information Technology will open new avenues and vistas for the participants for knowledge exchange and networking as it will also showcase research contributions and innovations for digital transformation, true to the motto of CSI, "IT for Masses".

One of the distinguished keynote speakers for the convention will be Prof. Mike Hinchey, President of International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP). IFIP is a global organization for ICT researchers and professionals to conduct research, develop standards and promote information sharing established in 1960 under the auspices of UNESCO. CSI represents India as a member society in IFIP. Prof. Hinchey works as a Professor of Software Engineering at University of Limerick, Ireland and also is a former Director of the NASA Software Engineering Laboratory. The organizing team has put together an impressive array of distinguished speakers from top universities, institutions and companies such as IBM, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Microsoft, IISc Bangalore, IIT Kharagpur, IIM Raipur, IIM Lucknow, ISI Kolkata, Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), IFIP, CDAC etc. For this convention, after rigorous review and quality check, papers will be short-listed for presentation and the proceedings will be published by our partner, Springer Nature. The Annual Convention is preceded by a Pre-Convention Tutorial on 11th February 2021 scheduled to be held at different venues in Lucknow. Other Convention highlights include business sessions, plenary sessions, panel discussions and exhibitions.
